Children's Fun Festival at Caras Park
In 2009, Missoula was named Montana's first Playful City USA. With this designation, Missoula becomes a national role model, leading the way for play and growing the next generation of healthy and productive adults. The Roots Fest hosts all the children's and family activities in Caras Park, entertaining 3,000-4,000 children and their families for two days. SpectrUM Science Discovery Area, along with many other local organizations will provide fun and educational activities including a youth performance stage, face painting, crafting, children's music, a high school rock band competition and more. Fun activities for Children and Families will be located in Caras Park from 12-6pm both days of the 2011 Festival. As with the rest of the festival - this is FREE and All Are Welcome!
