Greening Our Roots
making the Roots Fest more sustainable
In conjunction with the Sustainable Business Council with support from Missoula Federal Credit Union, we are proud to be working towards making the River City Roots Festival more "green". Steps being taken to make this event more sustainable include reusable cups for beverages, use of alternative energy sources, more recycling opportunities for festival goers, use of recycled paper and inks in print marketing with additional opportunities arising every week.
While we recognize that Roots Fest is not completely Green yet, we are committed to taking steps to achieve this goal in coming years.
